Finance

Gregory P. Watson, Finance Director

 

The Finance Department is responsible for recording and tracking all financial transactions of the agency.  The goal of the department is to provide fiscal support for the agency by following policies and procedures approved by the Board of Directors in accordance with applicable regulations.  The staff includes an Accountant, Payroll Specialist, Fiscal Specialist and an Accounts Payable specialist.

The Human Resources Department provides six major functions for the agency including:

  1. Employment   planning, recruiting and selection

  2. Training & Development  orientation and supervisory/employee training

  3. Compensation and Performance Management  pay structure and performance evaluation

  4. Benefits Administration  statutory and voluntary

  5. Employee Relations  policies and procedures

  6. Reporting/Systems  internal and external reporting and data base capabilities

Quality Assurance

Ada Stevenson, Director, Quality Assurance

The Quality Assurance Department functions as a monitoring agent for the agency, and monitors all sites and programs in accordance with the Head Start Performance Standards, applicable state regulations and the contractual agreements between the agency and our partners.

The Quality Assurance Department spearheads the agency's annual Self-Assessment process which provides the agency the means to regularly assess its management systems and program operations in order to continually strengthen its program and service delivery.

MIS Department/GenesisEarthTM

The MIS Department is "keeping information within reach" while maintaining and monitoring GenesisEarth.  GenesisEarth is a web-based software package.  It operates as an innovative tool to empower team members at every level of CDCFC with information technology for improved efficiency.  The unique workflow manager and real- time reporting capabilities help improve quality, performance, and outcomes so that we, at CDCFC can enroll more children, serve more families, and become more cost-effective.
