Our
Beliefs
We at CDCFC
Believe that . . . . .
Parents
have the primary responsibility for their children, and are partners with
CDCFC in assisting in their development.
Children and youth must be our
country's highest priority for the investment of time, money, and resources.
Our
families deserve the same respect, social benefits, and access to resources as
families from any community; therefore, we are committed to quality, integrity,
and continuous improvement of the programs we deliver.
Our programs must be accountable
to the community in which we work, and the dollars invested must have maximum
benefit.
It is the responsibility of each team member to recruit and keep satisfied
customers.
Service to our customers takes priority of all other tasks.
In
support of our beliefs, We at CDCFC will . . . . .
Work with schools, community institutions, religious organizations, and others
which support the development of children and families.
Provide facilities that are clean, safe places where children can feel free to
express themselves without fear.
Provide an environment where families can expect to find order and discipline,
continuity of positive adult role modes, and activities that emphasize fun and
play.
Promote the development of self-esteem when our children and families are
actively involved in programming which bring them a sense of accomplishment.
Embrace the core values of Head Start which include quality, inclusion,
empowerment, collaboration, learning, advocacy, wellness, nurturing, diversity,
and continuity.
