What We Do

CDCFC delivers Head Start and Early Head Start services to over 2,500 low-income children and families throughout Franklin County. We operate full and part-day centers, partner with privately-owned child care centers and provide one-on-one services in family homes.

We also provide Adult Education and Life Skills Programs for Head Start parents, most of which are available to the entire community as well. Our primary goal is to promote the education, success, health and wellness of each Head Start child in our centers and their entire family. We believe this holistic, whole family approach is key to the success of the children in our programs and vital to the eradication of poverty, not only in our community, but in EVERY community.
