Mental Health Services - Mental Health takes a team approach to strengthening a child's mental health, both in the classroom and at home.  a child's social emotional development is important to be successful in school and in life.  CDCFC Head Start provides evaluations and referrals in Development and Behavior, as well as training on various mental health areas to both parents and staff.  Mental Health strives to assist the entire family when facing mental health challenges by collaborating with community Mental Health Agencies.

Speech Services - CDCFC provides speech therapy to children who qualify for services.  The children receive speech screenings within 45 days after enrollment, and if an evaluation is warranted, the multidisciplinary team reviews all results to determine if a child needs further service and/or referrals.   For qualifying children, a Child Service Plan (CSP) is written to meet the child's needs.
