News & Events

Effective Monday, February 1, 2021,

CDCFC will revert back to our normal Inclement Weather Procedure and follow the decision of Columbus City Schools for weather-related school closures. Please be mindful that CCS will not be in session on Wednesdays for the remainder of this school year and CDCFC will make decisions for those snow days accordingly.

We will send out communications via agency email and the automated text system. You can also watch the news outlets for the "Child Development Council of Franklin County" on the closure announcements.

We have IMMEDIATE slots available for full-day infant/toddler care and full-day preschool! Slots are limited, so don’t wait!

Visit our Enrollment pagestop in at a local center, or call our Enrollment Hotline ANYTIME at (614) 271-4056. If you have any questions about CDCFC’s application and enrollment process, email us at info@cdcheadstart.org or call the Enrollment Hotline.

CDCFC is looking for energetic, caring, highly-skilled Teachers, for locations throughout the city. If you have an Associates or Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education/Development and are eager to challenge bright young minds, call 614/431-2186 or click here to apply online.
